On August 28th, I took a night tour of the Badaling Great Wall with our guide, Xiao Liu. The night view was absolutely stunning! The lights outlined the majestic silhouette of the Great Wall, making it resemble a golden dragon coiled around the mountains. Xiao Liu provided attentive service and gave interesting explanations, making it a wonderful travel experience.

The guide was pleasant and advised us to go to a less crowded area. He was very polite. He also had a good car. We were just a family in the car, and the guide was very accommodating when we asked to stop at a grocery store along the way.

Everything is great, the city is pleasant, the wall is cool and very beautiful. I recommend taking a boat ride; it's a very scenic ride and you can also see the city in the evening. The only thing I recommend is to definitely take the cable car both ways; we didn't take the return trip. And in the end, we overpaid a lot. We could have gotten it for 180 yuan roundtrip, but our guide Lucy didn't warn us that there wouldn't be enough time to walk down, and besides, we were very tired. However, for another group, the guide explained everything in more detail about the descent. In the end, we paid 130 yuan for the ascent + 130 yuan for the descent (260 for the whole trip). We overpaid by 80 yuan. If you go on your own, you'll pay even more; all tours with a guide are much cheaper. They only accept Alipay; they don't accept cards or cash.
