For first-time visitors to West Lake, I highly recommend joining a small group tour of 10! Luckily, everyone else in our group cancelled, so the two of us could go! The entire West Lake is 21 kilometers long, and it's difficult to appreciate every view on foot. Then we took a boat to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island via a fast route, avoiding the queues! Our guide, Xiao Xu, was very talkative and gentle, providing detailed explanations, and the itinerary wasn't too rushed. A fantastic experience!★

The half-day tour of West Lake was well-planned. We visited Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island, taking photos at the best vantage point. Our guide, Mr. Meng, provided excellent commentary—knowledgeable, witty, and humorous—which greatly enhanced our understanding of West Lake. There were no forced purchases.
