Reviews: Berchtesgaden and Eagle's Nest Day Trip from Munich

My son and I went to the Eagles Nest last week. The views, when the weather is clear, are truly amazing. During the time were were there we had clear skies then the fog came in and it we were inside a cloud. Remembering what happened here put a damper on how beautiful it is. This is something anyone interested in the history of WW2, should see. What's funny was knowing that Hitler didn't like coming here because he was afraid of heights.

The activity was excellent. Suzi was the best guide, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We would totally recommend this to people visiting the Salzburg area. It is a bit expensive considering it is a 4-5 hours activity so it is something for the organizers to consider.
