Highly recommended! Our guide, Olof, taught us a lot about Alicante's history and the best places to visit! We found this Belgian couple, a very pleasant Dutch guide!
Reviews: Alicante Paella Cooking Class, Tapas, Drinks and Market
Guest User2026-02-04
Really enjoyable tour, the market and it's history and seeing all the produce is a great start before the cooking. Very relaxed inclusive event, we were a slightly larger group than perhaps normal, but our guides managed the whole process without any problems. The bonus of a larger group meant we cooked all 3 versions of "arroz de Alicante". A great few hours spent learning some key tips and tricks from our expert guides and trying our "paella" dishes with the added bonus that the time also included sampling some great tapas and local wine, and all with a very enjoyable group of people. Will definitely return for some tapas cooking and also the local wine tasting events. Highly recommend trying the events if you are looking for something in Alicante.
Reviews: From Alicante: Roundtrip to Tabarca Island
Guest User2025-12-31
We had a lovely couple of hours on Tabarca. Had lunch and a lovely walk round and marvelled at the clear clean sea lapping the beaches. If you collect sea glass like us it’s a paradise!! Would def recommend the trip. Great value for money. There is a shortage of toilets on the island so def use the ones on the boat :) The restaurants let you use theirs too.
Reviews: Forbidden City,Treasure Museum Small Group Tour (Optional English,Spanish,Russian Guide)
Guest User2026-02-06
The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).
