The tour guide Danny was excellent . The tour itself was quite a full day . Notre Dame was under scaffolding and the post office wasn’t really that interesting . The tour lit up from the reunification palace and the Chui Chui tunnels . With a small group and going when we did we were able to avoid queues and really get a glimpse into what is might have been like. The ingenuity of the Viet Cong was astounding and outstepped the Americans all through the war . Danny looked after us really well and even dropped us back at our hotel :)

I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour. The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor. The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.

We had a great day on this tour. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh City and went by bus to see the Cu Chi tunnels from the Vietnam War. It was very interesting and informative, and the guide explained a lot. Walking inside the tunnels was amazing - very narrow and unforgettable. After that we had lunch, and it was a big surprise: a lot of food and everything was very tasty. Then we went to the Mekong River and had a nice boat ride, which was really fun. We also saw how coconut candies are made and visited a small honey farm. Our guide Luis was excellent. He was very friendly, helpful, answered all our questions, and clearly cared about making the tour enjoyable. We really appreciated his effort. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience. I rarely book tours but this one was sooo worth it. Anna and her team are amazing. Such a cool and unique way to explore the city. The food and drinks were really good. I would totally do this again!
