Reviews: 1-day tour of Tuscany, Italy: Leaning Tower of Pisa + San Gimignano + Siena round-trip from Florence

Italy's first stop to play in Tuscany, the world's best ice cream, the leaning tower is supported, the delicious local meal experience is nice! Save worry, get on the bus to rest, get off the bus to play, focus on an efficient multi-experience!

Europe's winter is dark early, it is dim at 4 pm, so it is very regrettable that we finally arrived at the Leaning Tower in Pisa, which is not conducive to taking pictures, and we can't take pictures of the design of the Leaning Tower with our hands. Other trips are very good.

Thank you to our guide Federico and bus driver Enrico for an amazing day out! This tour is great if you have limited time and want to see the highlights of Tuscany! Starting early in Pisa we started strong with the famed leaning tower of Pisa! Then it was off to the beautiful winery Poggio ai Laghi for a wine and food pairing. This was the highlight of the day and I left with some wonderful souvenirs to take home. Then it was off to Siena for a walking tour and entry into the cathedral before ending the day at the historic San Gimignano for award winning ice cream! The only thing I wish was advertised more clearly is that this tour is in both English and Spanish. I did find the switching between the two languages really time consuming and fatiguing especially with the walking tour. I think the day would flow better if the walking tour was separated by language and then we could have had more time to explore Siena properly. Our time in Siena felt very rushed but other than that this tour was as a really fun day out and you do see a lot! A highlight reel for sure! Special thanks to Federico who was just amazing! Really punctual and informative!! Very impressed indeed! Grazie
Reviews: Private day trip to Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti and Pisa, from Florence

I contacted the tour company about a month before our trip to customize the itinerary, asking to skip Pisa in favor of a villa or wine experience. They recommended Poggio Torselli, and it turned out to be an otherworldly highlight. The villa sits high on a hill surrounded by the classic Tuscan countryside, with sweeping views that reach all the way to Florence and its Duomo. We toured the extensive gardens before heading inside for a wine tasting in the beautifully appointed villa — elegant, historic, and serene. From there, we visited the medieval towns of San Gimignano and Siena, both spectacular. We had plenty of free time to wander the narrow streets, shop, and enjoy a drink in the piazza. Our driver, Donatello, surprised us with two unforgettable bonus stops. The first was Monteriggioni, a perfectly preserved walled village that feels frozen in time. The second came at the very end of the day — a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, overlooking Florence from across the river. The city stretched out below us in golden light, with the Duomo and Arno framed perfectly. We also enjoyed a private lunch at a secret location, which I can’t give away — but the dessert was an emotional experience in itself. When my mother-in-law stepped onto the terrace and took in the view, she hugged us both and cried. It was one of the most beautiful days of our entire trip — perfectly planned, deeply personal, and truly unforgettable.
