Strolling along the paths, your feet are on a soft carpet of grass and fallen blossoms, and looking up, you'll be greeted by a profusion of cherry blossoms in full bloom. Pink and white petals dance in the breeze, landing on your shoulders and the wooden path, filling the air with a delicate fragrance.
The most stunning sight is the 300-year-old Gassho-zukuri houses. Their pointed roofs resemble hands clasped in prayer, simple yet solemn, quietly telling tales of bygone eras.
