Very good. The whole itinerary is also good.
Reviews: Tijuca Peak Hiking - The Highest Summit in Tijuca National Park

I highly recommend this hike! Everything went smoothly, from booking to drop-off. Junior is an excellent guide, very knowledgable and personable. He gave us all sorts of information and recommendations for our time in Rio. He paced the hike to accommodate the different levels in the group and gave personal attention to everyone and assistance when required. The hike is 1:45min to the peak through shady forest up until the last few hundred meters which are up steep stairs carved in the rock, exposed to sun. Make sure to bring lots of water. The views from the peak are stunning! The hike down takes about an hour on the same trail. The tour includes a short hike to a cave and a delightful splash in a waterfall for cool-down. Bring a bathing suit--changing rooms available. The tour ends with a stop at the Chinese pagoda overlook for a final view of Rio. We had a great morning at Tijuca National Park.
