Kings Canyon Carpark Day Tour - Chinese Group

Departure time: 5:00 AM in winter; 4:30 AM in summer
Departing from the resort hotel, you'll travel by vehicle to Kings Canyon Carpark. Along the way, make a stop at Kings Creek Station where you can purchase hot drinks or breakfast at your own expense to prepare for the Kings Canyon hike. Then arrive at Watarrka National Park where Kings Canyon is located to begin your trek across the canyon, which takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hr to complete.
You can also opt for a relaxing riverbed hike to explore the canyon (approx. 1 hr round-trip), followed by a self-arranged lunch at Kings Creek Station. On the way back to Ayers Rock Resort, you'll stop at the Mount Conner lookout to admire the mountain or climb the nearby dunes for a panoramic view of Lake Amadeus. Finally, return to the resort by vehicle and enjoy free time upon arrival.

1-Day Tour to Kings Canyon Carpark - English Group
Duration: Approximately 13 hours

Departing from the resort hotel, you will travel by vehicle to Kings Canyon Carpark. En route, enjoy a hot breakfast at the Kings Creek Rest Stop (included). Upon arrival at Watarrka National Park where Kings Canyon is located, begin your hiking adventure through the canyon. Climb rugged rocks to reach the canyon rim and admire the breathtaking scenery of Watarrka National Park. Led by your guide, you will visit the lush "Garden of Eden" oasis before ascending back to the canyon rim to continue your journey. This hike takes approximately 3-4 hours, with some sections being rugged and steep. Alternatively, for a more relaxed experience, you may opt for a 2KM stroll along the creek bed to enjoy the magnificent canyon rim views. After the hike, lunch is available at Kings Canyon Resort (at your own expense). Later, you will return by vehicle along the Lasseter Highway to the resort hotel. Along the way, catch a glimpse of the majestic Mount Connor as you pass by Curtin Springs.
