Day 1: Chengdu - Diexi Lake - Songpan Ancient Town - Jiuzhaigou
Depart around 7:00 AM (the exact meeting location and time will be notified by customer support in the group chat the night before departure). Travel along the Min River via the Duwen Expressway, enjoying views of Wenchuan New Town and the hometown of Dayu, then arrive in Wenchuan. Continue through Maoxian, an important Qiang ethnic gathering area, to learn about the rich Qiang culture. Pass by the "Oriental Pompeii" known as **Diexi Lake**, which is actually a section of the Min River formed by an earthquake-induced barrier lake. The lake is about 1 km wide but stretches over 10 km long, consisting of two connected sections shaped like an intestine. Surrounded by green mountains, lush grass along the shores, and crystal-clear waters, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. Next, visit **Songpan Ancient City Wall**, built during the Ming Dynasty. The bricks used were 50 cm long, 12 cm thick, and weighed 30 kg each. The mortar, made from glutinous rice, lime, and tung oil, ensured exceptional durability. The wall stands 10 m high, 30 m wide, and spans 6,200 m, making it one of China's most remarkable ancient wall ruins.
Day 2 Jiuzhaigou day tour
After breakfast, enter the Jiuzhaigou attraction. Transfer to local eco-friendly sightseeing buses and spend the day exploring the fairyland known as Jiuzhaigou. Water is the soul of Jiuzhaigou, where lakes, waterfalls, streams, rivers, and shoals intertwine in a dynamic harmony of strength and softness, showcasing a kaleidoscope of colors. Experience the feeling of "traveling through a painting" before heading to Chuanzhusi Town to check in.
Day 3 Chuanzhusi - Huanglong Attraction - Chengdu
After breakfast, take a bus to Huanglong Scenic Spot, a world natural heritage site and national 5A-rated attraction. After exploring, enjoy the scenic Minjiang River Valley views on your return trip to Chengdu, concluding a delightful journey. Huanglong Scenic Spot is renowned for its unique landscapes, rich biodiversity, pristine ecology, and well-preserved natural wonders, earning it the title "Fairyland on Earth." Highlights include the Welcoming Color Pools, Flying Waterfall, Washing Body Cave, Golden Sand Covered Ground, Contending Color Pools, Huanglong Temple, and Five-Color Pools. Experience the area's six unique charms: colorful pools, flowing streams, snow-capped mountains, deep canyons, ancient temples, and local culture.
