We had a wonderful time at Waiotapu .. we managed to get to see the geyser at 10.15 am , but had we not made it on time , we were told that we could come back the following day on our original ticket .. what great service . The cafe had a wonderful selection of food to accommodate our hungry young grandsons ., 8 -10 yrs old . We were all totally enchanted with the park with its well maintained paths and stairs and platforms to view the pools and lakes and steaming graters .. Well done to the staff and organisers of the beautiful park .

Had a great time at Weta Workshop thanks to our guide Thomas! His sarcastic humor made the tour really fun, he was super knowledgeable and helpful with questions and photos, and it was awesome getting to explore all the different rooms covering various movies with a few fun DIY activities mixed in; overall a really well-paced and enjoyable experience!
