We met up with Brian Nolan our guide near the Spanish Arch for our private tour. He proceeded to take us to the Galway City Museum keeping us amused there and managed to keep us together up Quay and High Street, no small feat pointing out several features and regaling us in folklore and history. Time well spent that made us appreciate this part of Ireland.

The tour went ahead even though there were only two of us. The guide was very friendly and gave us many recommendations for Galway and Ireland in general. Unfortunately, at times, the information panels were only read aloud.

This tour was amazing. I saw and learned so much from our driver/tour guide, Anthony. He’s a really sweet guy who handled that giant bus on the narrow roads like a champ. The Cliffs of Moher themselves were breathtaking. The weather was between cloudy & rainy, but it was still beautiful. I can only imagine how much more amazing it would have been on a clear day.


