Thank you to our local guide in Fukuoka, Ishihara, for the wonderful day with us, speaking three languages. The itinerary was packed, though I got a bit dizzy on the bus.
Just a small suggestion: it would be better to choose a bus with USB ports, since we take a lot of photos, which drains the battery quickly, and most people want a relaxing trip. 😊★

This trip to Mount Aso was an excellent experience, and I'm so grateful to our tour guide for his professional and attentive guidance throughout! He had a thorough understanding of Mount Aso's volcanic history, the Five Peaks landscape, crater scenery, and local customs, providing vivid and detailed explanations packed with valuable information. The itinerary was well-planned, with a relaxed pace that wasn't rushed. He patiently cared for each member of the group, promptly reminding us of safety precautions and important points for sightseeing. He meticulously planned the route, leading us to deeply appreciate the grandeur of the active volcano and the natural beauty of the grasslands. This was a fantastic day trip with Gogoday! We departed from Hakata Station at 8 AM and arrived back at 6 PM. There was a rest stop at a highway service area. The itinerary included three attractions, and the time allotted was ample, allowing plenty of time to explore each one. Lunch was at Ama-Iwato Shrine, but time was a bit tight, so you could buy food at a nearby supermarket or beforehand at a Lawson convenience store near Hakata Station or at the highway service area. Finally, you could browse souvenir shops at Takachiho Gorge. The tour group consisted of both Chinese and Korean participants. Our guide, Mr. Zheng, first introduced the tour in Chinese and then in Korean. He was very kind and humorous, and there was absolutely no hard selling. He even gave us souvenirs! Thank you! 🙏★

We ate our fill the whole time! Everything was delicious and fun! The tour guide was very funny 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 He seemed very experienced in Japan. The tour group photos were a bit misleading, but the scenery was beautiful 😅 The tour guide was excellent; he helped us take photos and was very enthusiastic in telling us many stories 😍😍 I highly recommend our tour guide, Sun Peng! He deserves a raise! 🥳🥳🥳★

Overall, the price-performance ratio was good, considering it as transportation costs. You could leave the tour group at the end and stay in Kurokawa Onsen, then go directly to Beppu from Kurokawa Onsen the next day. The crater was closed due to a helicopter accident involving Taiwanese tourists in February, so you could only watch a live broadcast at the volcano museum. The tour guide strongly recommended Kusasenri horse oil and face masks. The tour guide gave us discount coupons, making the face mask 5500 yen and the horse oil 6600 yen per bottle. He said it contained horse placenta, so the production cost was high. After buying them, I felt it was completely unnecessary.★

Our tour guide Jimmy Liu is very knowledgeable. Really went his way out to ensure we get the best out of this one day tour. He made sure that everyone heard the instructions before dispersing us. It's a pity that Mt Aso Crater was closed,other than that everything went so well. We highly recommend Jimmy Liu for your next day tour!
