This was an amazing tour and I’m so glad I took it. This is a great way to get to know the history of the city surrounding you and even have a conversation with someone who knows details. I only had a short weekend in Warsaw and this was perfect to cover a lot of stuff in a short amount of time. I highly recommend doing this.
I would also like to thank and highly recommend my guide, Hania. Hania was so knowledgeable and so personable in the way she presented things that I had to ask her if she was a teacher. She took the time to engage me in conversation and learn some of my little interest. Then she took that and added little tidbits of knowledge that she knew I would enjoy knowing. She would talk about several little details that she knew I would find interesting and not just the basic tour guide “here’s what you’re looking at” type of things. Hania has a masked a lot of knowledge and you can tell she is very proud to share all the history that she knows.
If the company allows it, I would suggest that when booking your tour you request Hania. I promise you you won’t regret it and you will definitely enjoy the conversation.★

Everyone in their life time. Should visit one of these camps. Auschwitz is the most famous death camp. But it is far from the only one.
The further we get away from history, the easier history is used to twist, lie, manipulate. Forget.
The seeds of evil remain in the world and are growing and being nurtured where something like this will happen again.
This tour was impactful. Led by a guide with thoughtfulness and respect. Go. Learn. Be changed. Remember. And fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Fight against extreme nationalism. Against politicians who manipulate and lie.
Go on this tour. History demands it.★
