Everything was super organized. A smaller bus picked us up 200 meters from our accommodation to take us to the larger coach. Guide Dimitri explained the tour thoroughly, giving us space to ask any questions. Everyone was given maps of the gorge and directions to the port. The first half of the hike through the gorge is mostly downhill, so be prepared for sore calves for the next few days. After that, it's flatter. We wore trainers and were quite comfortable, but hiking boots would definitely have been more stable and would have allowed us to complete the hike faster. It's also worth knowing that EU students with student IDs can enter the National Park for free; just book a free ticket online. Overall, we highly recommend it; it's a great escape from the beach and a great opportunity to connect with nature (GOATS ARE GREAT). Fantastic trip👍 Especially happy with the guide's good advice for safe hiking in the Gorge. The guide's mood was great and made the atmosphere really good. Great experience but requires that you are in reasonably good physical shape.★

Activity was great! The bus were on time to pick up us. Dimitris, our Guide, was 100% and made the experience even better! I hurt myself during the hike and he supported a lot me and our group. He took me to the doctor at the middle of the hike and they took care of me. The hike is safe, there is a lot of guides coming and going, fire extinguisher everywhere... I felt secure as a tourist. I would definitely do it again! I definitely recommend!!!!★

A fantastic day, organisation without fault, guide super, gorge spectacular.
Coach was air conditioned which was a god send at the end of the day as the last 3km of the walk was hot beyond anything I've experienced (although from the UK so not a high bar!), really well driven on some very mountainous roads.
Guide gave just the right amount of information and some interesting facts during the coach journey without overdoing it. Available without being in in your face, basicly you make your own way down while she swept up any stragglers to ensure every makes the ferry.
The gorge is spectacular and I would recommend to anyone interested. It is nearly all down hill but it is rough ground. I wore trainers which I would not recommend if you have hiking boots (I did not bring them to Crete), by the end the soles of my feet were suffering from the rough ground. It is also very hot, especally the last 3km from the National Park exit to the ferry. It's tough but very much worth the effort, time and cost.★

What a fantastic quad bike tour!!
Through small villages with narrow streets, through a goat enclosure, across a stream, to a reservoir, over rocks and through sand and gravel. Up and down hills.
It was so much fun. Highly recommended.

Nice Trip with very kind & experienced driver (dangerous way to the beach) and also very good and friendly guide, she knew very good a history of the island and told us the most important things… it was very hot and no shade please on the beach because of lot visitors but the weather it was a great & beautiful place and a very nice full day trip with finally a great meal at the family Taverne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
