Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away.
Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.★

David is amazing tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The tour is a great experience that is hard to miss if your are visiting New Zealand. The Waitamo Cave tour is more impressive than the description. The hobbitown is like a paradise. We were able to get free drinks during our trip. Umbrella is available to borrow if it starts raining. We were able to go inside the hobbit house and check out the fine furnitures. These two places are worth the trip.★

The whole family had the most amazing day with Murray visiting thr Hobbiton village and the Glow worm caves. Murray was extremely knowledgeable and explained things and places with great detail. Bush and Beach are lucky to have him.
He made sure we had a great time in the bus, while we stopped for a coffee break, at the movie set and the caves. And all through the drive as well. ★

We had a lovely ride following the route suggested and enjoyed the walk to the caves all done st our own pace so we were able to stop and look at views along the way. Richard provided us both with a flask of herbal tea and snack bars to keep us going. Highly recommend this trip★

Fantastic trip with GreatSights company to Waitomo Caves and the Hobbiton movie set. Our guide Nicky was absolutely fantastic, very informative and very knowledgeable. Many stories she told were fascinating and very learning. Nicky just had been great. Driving the very big bus through the traffic such a long way was just amazing. The places are nice , especially Waitomo Glow Worm caves are insane, like million of stars in darkness and silence. Hobbiton is nice, especially for the lovers of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. The tour is very well organized, bus very comfortable, punctual pickups and drop offs. Ik highly recommend GreatSigts as a tour company
