When an overseas family member comes to town to stay with me, I treat them to this experience. The female crew that day did a marvellous job taking care of all the guests. As usual the muffins were delicious! My cousin was happy she got to taste trout and was delighted when the mechanical rod hooked a fair-sized trout. A bonus was a Māori man performed a spontaneous Haka on board, which was special - albeit he wore his patch jacket illegally in a public place.★

We all had a really good time on the kayaking tour. Was easy as to get set up and go across the lake as a group. You got right up close and personal to the rock carvings and was very refreshing to have a swim in the lake. Would definitely recommend!★

The trip out to the Māori carvings was amazing but the battery had not charged on the electric yacht so we had to take another boat which was still pretty good! After we looked at the Māori carvings we then had the opportunity to have a swim in the lake nearby which I did and loved it!★

Enjoyed our trip, great views of the Huka Falls but not really of the Maori carvings which was disappointing as one main reason for choosing the Heli ride so felt that was a bit poor.
