The trip out to the Māori carvings was amazing but the battery had not charged on the electric yacht so we had to take another boat which was still pretty good! After we looked at the Māori carvings we then had the opportunity to have a swim in the lake nearby which I did and loved it!

We were privileged to have sailed with Classical sailing maori rock carvings adventures. Dave and Jess were great. The Taupo lake itself is magnificent and Jess gave fantastic commentary about the Lake Taupo and its history and the sheer size and the depth of the Taupo lake are breathtaking. They stopped at the swim stop and the refreshments were amazing. The best part was they let us have an Awesome view of the spectacular colours when the sun was setting on the lake. It was truly thrilling experience and I really enjoyed the Classical sailing and I'd definitely recommend to many others.

Great trip. Small group makes it very personal. Ira was very knowledgeable, and mindful of the people on the cruise. Extra time on the beach landings and walk up to sightseeing view areas was readily accessible. Boat was clean, well maintained, and perfect for getting within less than a meter of the waterfalls and cliffs. Also took us in to small coves other vessels couldn't reach. Very much appreciated the coffee, tea, snack break on the beach. Strongly recommend this excursion!

Excellent hike; Carlene was a fantastic guide, helpful, knowledgeable and managing the group well. Day began grey and wet but brightened up shortly into the walk and ended with blue skies and lovely weather. Made us feel that we should perhaps have gone on for the full hike (next time perhaps). Thanks Adrift Tongariro Tim
