A pleasurable experience of warm waters amongst beautiful landscaped warm pools ( easily accessed) with stunning scenery and a swim up bar for a steaming drink or cool bubbles … and afterwards a welcoming soft robe to walk into lovely showers and change rooms !! Luxury ++ Thoroughly recommend this experience … I’ll do again and maybe even have a facial afterwards !!

Absolutely amazing! The pickup was super punctual, the pilot was very friendly and explained a lot. Setting up the balloon was professional, completely trouble-free, and safe. The balloon then rose to 4,000 feet, and we floated above the clouds with a fantastic view of the mountains, including Mount Cook. We'll probably never forget that view. After the very smooth landing, we were treated to a glass of sparkling wine and muffins.

CITIC Hot Spring is small and charming; some of the smaller pools can be closed off, allowing a group of friends to enjoy them undisturbed. The hotel itself is quite basic, with outdated facilities. There are no waterfall or mountain climbing activities available; the hotel explained that it was closed due to construction.
