We had a great time. Our guide Ana was excellent, she has a natural light fun energy which carried us through the day well. She was very informative and helpful, even providing us with extra information relating to the origin of seaglass on the beach next to the red tower. This was our favourite tour so far in Turkey, all the locations we visited were briliant and the food was lovely. Highly recommend.★

Everything is great, the city is pleasant, the wall is cool and very beautiful. I recommend taking a boat ride; it's a very scenic ride and you can also see the city in the evening. The only thing I recommend is to definitely take the CABLE CAR BOTH WAYS UP and DOWN; we didn't take the return trip. And in the end, we overpaid a lot. We could have gotten it for 180 yuan roundtrip, but our guide Lucy didn't warn us that there wouldn't be enough time to walk down, and besides, we were very tired. However, for another group, the guide explained everything in more detail about the descent. In the end, we paid 130 yuan for the ascent + 130 yuan for the descent (260 yuan for the whole trip). We overpaid by 80 yuan. If you go on your own, you'll pay even more; all tours with a guide are much cheaper. They only accept Alipay; they don't accept cards or cash.★

This trip to Prince Gong's Mansion was made even more special thanks to this professional and considerate guide! His explanations were incredibly insightful, covering everything from the luxurious layout of Heshen's residence and the century-long history of Prince Gong's Mansion, to the golden nanmu wood of Xijinzhai, the hidden treasures within the 88 floral windows of the rear building, and the profound meaning of "The First Blessing Under Heaven." Every architectural detail and cultural anecdote was explained meticulously, clearly dissecting the rich history of "One Prince Gong's Mansion, Half of the Qing Dynasty's History." Even more remarkable was that the explanations were anything but dry. His humorous language, coupled with vivid historical anecdotes, imbued the cold blue bricks and gray tiles with stories and warmth, captivating both the elderly and children. The pacing was perfect, neither rushing nor dragging, and he thoughtfully reminded everyone of good photo spots and to watch out for steps, patiently answering all questions. He even considered the stamina of the elderly and children in the group, finding shady spots for short rests. Following him on a tour of Prince Gong's Mansion is not just a superficial sightseeing trip, but a truly immersive experience of the mansion's cultural charm, leaving you with a wealth of knowledge and experiences. The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).
