Our guide Juan picked us up at the hotel on time and we were a small group of 8 persons. It's a 90 minute drive to Tiwanaku. We were able to visit the archaelogical ruins and 2 museums. Juan was knowledgeable in the Tiwanaku Culture and history. Afterwards, our group had lunch on our own expense at a nearby restaurant. It was a good lunch where the side dishes (rice, potatoes, vegetables, noodles) were on buffet and so we had as much as we wanted. Lunch plus the entrance fee to the sites just cost US$20/pax which was reasonable. Then it rained after lunch and we just opted to wait inside the bus because we did not want to get wet while the rest of the group visited Puma Punku. We got back to La Paz before 4 pm and we were dropped off at Sagarnaga. Overall it was a good tour.
