Did a walking tour with Cecil in the morning,.it was fun learning about local flora and fauna, history of Abisko National Park and spotting different animals tracks, we did see two moose resting in the distance, overall good time.★

I was nervous when the pickup didn’t arrive at 7:34, but at 7:36 the handsome Joshua appeared with a warm smile and kindly explained that pickup was at 7:40. He immediately made us feel relaxed and safe. Joshua was more than a guide—he felt like a friend, genuinely interested in our travel story and cheering for our next six months on the road. The vehicle was comfortable, and thanks to best driver Joshua, the dark road became exciting instead of scary. We even saw wild reindeer on the way, which was a special moment since we had no chance to explore Abisko at night before. The tea and “special homemade” cookies were lovely—I ate two! There was not a single disappointing moment, and meeting such a wonderful person made the tour even more meaningful. Joshua said he envied my travels, but I actually envied his life here 😊 I truly want to return to Abisko. Highly recommended!
