Reviews: Nagoya Shoryudo 1-day Tour: Inuyama Castle + Magome + Tsumago-juku + Ena Kyo Observation Deck

Ricky was an excellent guide, explaining the itinerary and attractions on the bus and accompanying us on the way to Longshen Waterfall. He even lent us his umbrella when it rained. Five stars!

I think this is a place worth visiting. The snack shops near Ena Gorge have incredibly delicious strawberries, only 1000 yen a bag. The strawberry flavor is exceptionally sweet; in Nagoya, a bag of strawberries would cost at least 1500 yen. The roasted sweet potatoes are also delicious. Tsumarajuku is truly beautiful, perfect for taking photos.

Tour was managed well on schedule, and just about the right duration to roam the various places - recommendations for lunch at noodles place was delish!

If you follow the E SIM installation manual step by step, your phone will soon be able to use data in Japan normally. Previously, I had to carry separate devices like Wi-Fi lunch boxes, but E SIMs are incredibly convenient.
Reviews: Magome-juku, Tsumago-juku & Ena-kyo 1d Bus Tour from Nagoya
Guest User2026-01-28
I was the only primarily English speaking person on the tour, and the guide was exceptional in switching between both languages so that everyone on the tour got the most out of it - very knowledgeable and kind :) Plenty of history was shared, and many beautiful sites were visited. Very well organised times to return to the bus to ensure we could see everything. The guide continued to give us recommendations of food and photo opportunities at each site. The transportation was excellent also - thank you bus driver :) Would highly recommend this tour!
Reviews: Eihō-ji Temple, Ena Gorge, Magome, Tsumago-juku day tour
Guest User2025-10-18
There were four attractions in total. Eihoji Temple already showed some autumn colors in mid-October, and I'm sure in another month it'll be dominated by ginkgo trees and red maples. Ena Gorge wasn't anything special; I went there simply because I wanted to pass by. Magome-juku is so newly renovated, it looks like a sloped version of Panlong Tiandi. There are so many shops, and navigating the slopes on a rainy day was a bit scary. When we arrived at Tsumago-juku, it rained heavily, which only added to the charm of the quaint Tsumago-juku. Our group of about a dozen people was arranged by minibus, and everyone was very punctual, both for the morning check-in and the gathering at each attraction! The tourists were mostly from Southeast Asia, Europe, America, and Taiwan, and the guide spoke Chinese and English throughout the trip. 👍🏼
