Ribas delivered an exceptional food and wine tour that was the perfect start to our Portugal trip. We visited several wonderful dining spots and enjoyed an outstanding wine tasting and tour. Along the way, Ribas shared fascinating insights into the history behind the food and wine, as well as stories about Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia that truly enriched the experience. One of the best tours we've been on. The tour covers the vast cellars, the previously private family collection of ports dating to the 16th century and a tasting of 4 different kinds of port. Our guide was the most engaging, informative and charming Katarina. She even had the patience to explain the different aging and dating process a second time, after our tasting session seemed to muddy our memory. She's a credit to the company. Take the tour.

I used it when traveling to Germany, France, and Switzerland. It seems like you don't need to reserve a seat. I didn't, but I was able to sit down everywhere. This pass saved me about 20,000 yen, so I highly recommend it. Apparently, if you don't activate it before boarding, you'll be fined.
