One of the best experiences I had in Mumbai and a real highlight of the trip. The guide completely over delivered, knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly cared about giving a genuine perspective rather than a surface level tourist experience. What stood out most was how much thought went into safety and respect for the local community. Nothing ever felt intrusive or exploitative, and he was mindful about where photos were appropriate and where they weren't. The local train ride was unforgettable and gives you a real sense of the energy and scale of the city. Dharavi itself was the most captivating part, with real context about the industries, the people, and how the community functions. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to understand Mumbai beyond the typical sights.

We had a fantastic time exploring Mumbai with guide Ganesh and driver Abdul! Ganesh is super pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. Abdul - the driver was wonderful too—very professional, kind, and a joy to chat with. Best for us were the Elephanta Caves: This UNESCO site is incredible and definitely the highlight of the trip. The Victorian buildings through out the city are still stunning, though it’s a shame they aren't better maintained. Our guide was very nice and kept things moving. Overall, it was a smooth, pleasant, and very memorable day!


