The activity will begin with hotel pick-up at 4:00 a.m. in the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro and downtown Lima. From there, they will be transferred to the bus terminal, where they will board a bus at 5:00 a.m. bound for Barranca.

Upon arrival, a guide will be waiting for you at the station. You will have time to have breakfast on your own before entering the city of Caral with the guide.

Caral is an important archaeological center with truncated pyramids, temples and astronomical centers more than 5,000 years old. It is the first city in America, located in the Supe Valley, and is considered the cradle of the Andean civilization and the third oldest human settlement in the world, after Mesopotamia and Egypt. After the visit to Caral, you will have an hour at leisure for lunch before heading to Barranca to see Christ the Redeemer. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the Plaza de Armas, also known as the heroic city due to the outstanding defense of its inhabitants during the War of the Pacific. As part of this heritage, you will see the anchor and chain that belonged to the Chilean ship Covadonga.

Finally, you will return to the Barranca bus terminal at 4:30 p.m. for the return to Lima, with the conclusion of the tour scheduled for around 8:30 p.m. Last minute reservations may be subject to changes in the tour operation; for availability inquiries, please contact the supplier by email.
