You will leave Cusco by bus at 7:00 am, heading to Chinchero (Cruz pata), where you will make a stop to pick up your bikes and equipment. Then you will cycle for about 2 hours and arrive at Moray, the ancient Inka agricultural laboratory located in a rare topographic depression that the Inkas developed in unique circular terraces. You will learn how this entire area was also irrigated by a well-designed irrigation system.
Next, get back on your bike and pedal to the salt mines of the colonial town of Maras, where you will see the process of collecting salt and precious minerals from Inca times. Later, your car will take you back to Cuzco at 17:00.
