The quad bike tour was a truly fantastic experience. The Atlantis Dunes were indescribably beautiful, and our guide showed off his skills, taking amazing photos and videos of us.

Overall, a fun experience. About an hour's drive from the Waterfront in Cape Town, you'll find a beautiful landscape of dunes covered in fine sand. Entrance to the park is extra and therefore not included with this tour operator. Upon arrival, you have to deal with some paperwork, as the park administration keeps a paper list with names and passport numbers (or dates of birth). For this activity, you have to walk yourself, first about 500 meters to the dune you'll be driving on, and then back up the dune about 20 meters after each run. We had blazing sun and temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius. The sand felt like it was burning our feet as we walked uphill. Therefore, my recommendation for this activity is: - only in mild temperatures or overcast weather - generally suitable for children due to the availability of sleds (our children just played with the sand and were happy) - more suitable for athletic individuals. The guide was friendly.

Great, but we still had to wait before starting. We arrived early, as mentioned, but we started 40 minutes after the scheduled time.

Our guide, Justin Power, was fantastic for this memorable trip to the Cape. Our day was a success thanks to his dedication and availability. We arrived late with our cruise, and he saved the day. Thank you, Justin, from our group.
