We had the best tour ever. It started a little bumpy: the driver was 10 minutes late for pickup. However, the drive itself was very pleasant. Once we arrived at the park, we met Tawanda: he's incredibly nice, was great with our 5-year-old son, and knows the place like the back of his hand, having worked as a tour guide for 15 years (!). At first, we were a bit surprised by the small private car we were traveling in. But it turned out to be a huge advantage: we could take any road we wanted and even make a few detours. Tawanda really knows all the best spots for close-up animal viewing. One elephant was so close to our car we could have touched it. The tour was so good that we immediately booked him for another day trip in Cape Town. Tawanda is incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a fantastic storyteller. If we ever return to South Africa, we'll definitely contact him again.★

An e-bike is such a great way to explore the eastern shore of Lake Tahoe. Parking is a nightmare at the nicest places by the lake so going by bike saves you lots of stress. Recommended.★

The cruise and hospitality of the boat crew was amazing. Highly recommend it. A little disappointed that so many of the rooms at the castle were closed for renovations. Bathroom facilities are horrible. But an A+ for the boat and staff.
