This tour was great! We took it on January 2, 2026. We saw so much, and we did very little walking. The catacombs were a solid 10! The entire city is so full of antiquity that you need a month to see it, we were lucky to have 10 days. The weather was cold and damp but we trudged through. Marvelous tour! 5 stars.

We were toward the end of our trip and still had a number of sights to see. I was considering a night tour for pics but I booked with one days notice. Turned out half the tour was day and the remaining time was night. Got the best of both worlds. The tour guide was informed what sights we had already seen and he customized the remaining sights. When it was all said and done I wished we could have kept going. I was able to tick off all remaining boxes on our list. This tour was the icing on the cake. Guide was knowledgeable and knew all the short cuts to get us to the remaining sights. If you are on the fence I hope my review will help make your trip memorable. We could not have walked to all these sights. I have no regrets about taking this custom tour. My husband and I are 70 we are very capable of walking however we were simply ran out of time. This tour was relaxing while guide provided detail tour information about each site. Would do it all over again it was worth every penny. When you spend on a big trip like this sometimes you have to make split decisions. This was one of them.

I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is very close to Rome Termini train station. There's a Chinese restaurant next door called Wangxianglou (or something similar), their boiled beef is pretty good. There's also a motorcycle rental shop; I have a license, so I rented a Vespa for 3 hours for 45 euros, it was a lot of fun. The hotel is typical European style, the rooms are quite small, and the elevator is especially small. But the facilities are decent, and the cleanliness is acceptable.
