This is a must, totally the best experience ever. Smooth from start to finish, pick up, flight, jeeps waiting on arrival in Mikumi and straight out on Safari. We saw Elephants with babies in the first 5 minutes, Giaraffes,Impala's,Wildebeast,Croc's,Hippo's ,Zebras ,Lions , Lionesses, Leopard,Vulture'and species of birds. The grounds are amazing and vast with beautiful scenery, lunch is good and provided. Guide really friendly and very knowledgeable. His mission was to find every animal he could and he didn't fail. Totally recommend !!★

We went on safari to the Mikumi National Park, Tanzania and we had the best day. Our guide, Isaac, was just amazing! He had asked what we would like to see (not that he needed to as we seemed to see everything!), so first thing on our agenda was a lion hunt! We managed to see 3 prides of lions and it amazed us how close we were. We could even see the different personalities in them - especially the Kings!! We saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, a python and lizard sat in a tree together, to name a few - and not just from a distance! Couldn’t actually believe how close we were - absolutely amazing!!!
Experiencing the watering hole was just out of this world too - felt like we were in a movie!!
Seeing the animals/birds was fabulous, and obviously the highlight, but we also enjoyed riding in the jeep - such an adventure!
We will definitely be booking to do another safari sometime in the future!! ★

everything about the tour was up to standards, from the punctuality in the hotel pick-up, safe and comfortable transport, captain and guides were super attentive, very friendly, lunch was delicious and fresh, plenty of seafood options, lobster, calamari, octopus, tuna. The excursion to Changuu (prison island) was very informative, Nakupenda was a piece of paradise. the boat that took us was a one motor boat, it takes about 30' to get to changuu, maybe 10/15' to Nakupenda and another 15' back to stone town. you won't even feel the time passing as the views are breathtaking. Milano and P. Pequeno (forgot his name, Duma or Dima, can't remember) are absolut gems.★

I highly recommend starting this experience early in the morning so you can arrive before the sandbar gets crowded. It was really interesting to compare the two for a few hours when Nakupenda fills up with tourists and vendors selling drinks and souvenirs. The water is gorgeous, and I also thank the guides who were very helpful and set up a tent where they served us fresh fruit accompanied by local music.★

Had a great day and found out so much I didn’t know from my guide , so cool 😎 to hang out with the Giant Tortoises. Stone Town was a lot of fun as was the spice farm, brilliant day out , would highly recommended
