Very good experience. Tour was smooth, i like how they split the group up so it will not be congested. Overall, a good experience.

I think the tour offers great value for money; it's one of the cheapest tours available in the city. With good weather, the view is beautiful, a great way to escape the cloudiness of Tromsø. The bus stops at some strategic points for photos for a few minutes. Our bus didn't have a bathroom, but we did stop for restrooms twice, once with donuts and hot chocolate. The picnic was the highlight because food is very expensive in Tromsø, and we ate as much as we wanted, without the stinginess we experienced on other tours. The guide, Andreas, was sensational, very funny, and talked about the history and interesting facts throughout the entire tour. The tour was in English and Spanish the whole time. I found it interesting for sunny days; perhaps it wouldn't be as worthwhile on a rainy day.
Reviews: Breivikeidet: Cross-Country Skiing & Husky Visit

We had a wonderful cross-country skiing experience. There were only two of us—me and my wife—in the morning batch, which made it feel very personal and relaxed. The guide was patient and knowledgeable, and taught us the basics of cross-country skiing step by step. The trail was perfect for beginners, making it easy to learn and enjoy the experience. We ended up skiing more than 3 km, which was a great achievement for first-timers. Despite the temperature being around -20°C, we stayed comfortable with the provided skiing accessories. One of the highlights was getting to meet the huskies—they were adorable and added to the overall charm of the experience. It was fun, well organized, and truly memorable

Reviews: Reindeer feeding & Saami Culture
Guest User2025-01-06
This was a Christmas activity for our family of 5 as we celebrated in Tromso. It is a must-do experience for anyone visiting to enjoy this and learn about the Sami culture. It is a 45-minute journey from Tromso with an amazing view of the snow mountains. You are free to feed and take pictures with the reindeer for around the hour. The main hall is warm and has bread, tea, and hot chocolate. Lunch was bidos (reindeer stew) or vegetarian. Then, a sharing was done by John who is from northern Sami where he shared about customs, reindeers, gakti, etc. Weather is a huge factor in these trips and the tour bus could not return to us for pickup - with an hour’s delay, the crew was very apologetic and hardworking, arranging alternative transport on two smaller Mercedes vans. This experience was memorable and I highly recommend it for the exposure with lovely people!
