Puerto Plata: Zipline, Waterfalls, & Chocolate Tour

Begin your adventure with a pickup from either Amber Cove or Taino Bay cruise-ship ports. After a short transfer to the basecamp, enjoy a thorough safety briefing and gear up. Then, hike for around 30 minutes through lush tropical jungle to the first zip line.

Feel the adrenaline kick in as you whiz over waterfalls, rivers, and canyons. In total, experience 5 zip lines, with two rope bridges included.

Following the zip line thrill, continue to explore the 7 waterfalls of Damajagua. Hike down through spectacular terrain, cascading, sliding, jumping, and swimming in natural river pools and canyons for a thrilling water-based experience.

Back at basecamp, relax during a delicious Dominican-style lunch, served buffet-style with options that are vegetarian-friendly. Along with lunch, enjoy soft drinks, bottled water, beer, and a shot of Mamajuana (a traditional Dominican drink).

After your meal, enjoy free transportation back to your cruise port (Amber Cove or Taino Bay). The tour also features a short visit to a chocolate factory, where you can taste local chocolate specialties. Photographers (“paparazzi”) are on hand to capture your adventure, and lockers are available for personal items.
