Our guide was very knowledgeable but almost too polite. Someone went on the tour that didn’t speak English and a friend translated which meant the rest of the people on the tour only got about 1/2 the words of a normal tour and my teenage sons struggled to maintain attention. Tip: don’t bend the tour to the one- make that their issue vs whole group’s issue or 2x the length.★

I booked a tour of St. Mark's Basilica including the Palatine Hill and the terrace. You receive the ticket by email on the day of the tour, along with a link to the audio guide. It's important to note that it's not an app, as mentioned, but a website. However, the website works very well, even inside the basilica. There isn't a priority queue, but rather one for everyone – except for groups. But if you arrive early enough, it's not a problem at all. I would highly recommend this ticket!★

Walking tour was good and informative and about the right amount of time Gondola ride was disappointing as it wasn’t private and our gondolier didn’t speak to us other than to say don’t touch the sides or rope★
