Lawrence was the best tour guide. He was personable, kind, and very knowledgable. You can tell he really loves what he does. Lawrence felt more like a friend than a guide. He brought the energy when we needed it, and he was very comfortable with the establishments we visited. We felt we were in great hands the whole trip! This experience was the highlight of our trip. Thanks to Paulo, we were able to discover an authentic and historically rich Douro Valley. The day's itinerary was so well-planned that it flew by. From the boat tour on the river to lunch, the port tasting at a local winery, the picnic, and finally all the Jeep rides through the valley's trails, the excursion was simply a complete, magical, and intimate experience.
