The island tour was enjoyable and interesting overall. The island itself is very scenic and offers fascinating insights into nature and history. Unfortunately, however, it wasn't a complete tour, but rather a limited stay in a specific area. This meant that some of the island's potential remained untapped. All in all, it's a worthwhile excursion for anyone interested in birds and plants.★

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.★

The ride is perfect during morning sunrise hours, even without animals, saw a lot of dolphins, didn’t get to watch any whales though. Guide was really engaging and knowledgeable.
