It was a last minute decision to do this and I’m glad we did. The destinations were great, the food was excellent and the wine was plentiful. Our guide was very helpful and the other party in our group was fun also. Overall, a great experience. Other reviewers mentioned a meal near the end of the trip but that wasn’t part of our experience.★

We enjoyed our visit to the Boboli Gardens in Florence. It was a very pleasant place for a leisurely walk, with beautifully landscaped paths and several wonderful viewpoints overlooking the city and surrounding areas. The gardens offer a peaceful break from the busier parts of Florence and a nice sense of history and scale. That said, when we visited in February, there was quite a bit of restoration work underway. Some areas were partially closed or impacted by scaffolding, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Even so, we’re glad we went—the views and atmosphere still made it worthwhile, and it’s easy to imagine how stunning it will be once the restoration is complete.★

Enzo was fantastic. He took us up into the Florence hills to see the city from a spectacular vantage point. He explained many details about the ancient city and it's large collection of artists and engineers. We saw Galileo's home and where he last lived under house arrest and the convent his daughters served in. He was great. The tours was a nice length and we got to see the sunset at Michaelangelo square. One of the best tours in Florence for sure.★
