I used it when traveling to Germany, France, and Switzerland. It seems like you don't need to reserve a seat. I didn't, but I was able to sit down everywhere. This pass saved me about 20,000 yen, so I highly recommend it. Apparently, if you don't activate it before boarding, you'll be fined.

fast train, take only 15 min from Heathrow terminal 2-3 to London paddington station. however, it makes a little confusing to find the train, turn out heathrow express and elizabeth tube share the same line.

It was so much fun!! Prices are higher than in Japan, but it felt like a good deal! I really liked the opportunity to go to so many different places!

I personally think it's very convenient. Planning your travel time and attractions in advance can save you a lot of money. If you can travel as a special forces soldier, buying a day pass can save you a lot.
