A fantastic and highly recommended day trip! The hotel pick-up with Sergio went perfectly; he was right on time and had contacted us beforehand via WhatsApp. The small breakfast in Arouca, where we sampled typical Portuguese sweets, was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful experience. Afterwards, we headed to the Praia Walking Way. Barbara (our local guide) was waiting for us in the parking lot. She gave us some snacks and an extra backpack so we could leave our things in Sergio's car. Then we started climbing the 500 steps to the top. Once there, we were rewarded with a fantastic view of the suspension bridge. The bridge itself is a beautiful sight. Afterwards, we descended many more steps. At the end of the trail, Sergio picked us up again. We can only say thank you for a wonderful experience; we would do it again in a heartbeat!

A relaxing and very enjoyable tour. We went during a low-tourism period, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely tour and appreciate every detail. João was our guide, always attentive to our needs in both Portuguese and English, and he helped us get to know the bridge in depth, as well as taking wonderful photos. Definitely a must-do!
