Reviews: DMZ Day Trip: Third Tunnel/Dora Observatory/Imjingak/Includes Meeting with North Korean Defectors

A Breathtaking and In-Depth DMZ Day Trip – Our Guide Lisa Was Professional and Thoughtful! This DMZ day trip far exceeded my expectations. It was a truly breathtaking and educational experience, highly recommended for anyone traveling to Korea! A Rich and Meaningful Itinerary: The experience of walking through the Third Tunnel was unique, allowing you to personally feel the traces of history. While it was a bit physically demanding, it was well worth it! Looking across the river from the Dora Observatory, the feeling of being so close yet so far was unforgettable. The most special part was meeting with North Korean defectors. Hearing their real stories and experiences firsthand, and having many questions answered, was a rare and precious opportunity for exchange. Our Guide Lisa's Outstanding Performance: We must give a huge shout-out to our guide Lisa! Managing a large group, she demonstrated exceptional professionalism and organizational skills, managing the entire trip perfectly. Lisa speaks fluent Mandarin, and her explanations of historical background were lively, interesting, objective, and neutral, making what could have been a heavy historical journey captivating. She took great care of everyone throughout the trip, enthusiastically answering all our questions; her service was top-notch! Organization and Transportation: We departed promptly at 8:00 AM, and the meeting points were clearly marked. The bus was spacious and comfortable, and the entire trip was very smooth, without feeling rushed at all. Thank you to our tour guide, Lisa, for giving us such a fulfilling and memorable day. This was definitely one of the most unforgettable parts of our trip to Korea!
Reviews: 1-day tour to Nami Island + Petite France & Italia Village Pinocchio & Da Vinci + Gangchon rail bike in Korea

It rained heavily in the morning, but thankfully the rain subsided while we were on the rail bike ride, and it was only cloudy afterwards, which I'm very grateful for. Our tour leader, Linda, was very beautiful, provided clear explanations, and shared a lot of information, which greatly increased my understanding of Korea; she was very professional. The 30-minute rail bike ride was very enjoyable, with beautiful scenery along the way, passing through four tunnels, each with its own unique theme. For lunch, we ate at a local fried chicken restaurant recommended by Linda, which was quite delicious. Nami Island is beautiful, and the tree-lined paths are stunning; I believe it will be even more beautiful in autumn. Finally, we visited Petite France and Petite Italy, both of which have their own unique charm. In conclusion, this was a very worthwhile tour.

Although we were stuck in traffic for two hours due to the long weekend, the first stop, Chuncheon Chicken, the coffee shop, and the railway bike ride were really great. The second stop, Alpaca World, was also a hit with the kids, with all sorts of cute animals. It was a bit of a shame that we didn't have enough time on Nami Island, but that means we can come back and visit again. Our tour guide, Alex, was very funny and responsible, and we had a very fulfilling day.
Reviews: DMZ Tour Korea from Seoul (Suspension Bridge & JSA Museum)

An interesting event, highly recommended. It's a historical site, and few people have been there. The guide (Alex, a former military man) is excellent. There are no problems with restrooms or food along the way. You can even buy beer (DMZ) in the souvenir shop. At the end of the tour, they bring you to talk to a Korean defector. As I understand it, it depends on who's working that day. You can ask them various questions, and then... they'll offer to buy their book. Cash is on the left, card is on the right. I thought this event was rather staged. But overall, the tour itself was very interesting, worth the visit.

What a fantastic experience. The guide, Andrew, guided us incredibly well from start to finish. It began the day before with clear instructions and explanations, and he remained very helpful even after the tour. Nothing but praise for the tour and Andrew.
