A must-have for Aussies traveling to Asia – huge savings compared to roaming Rating: 5/5. This was my second time using this eSIM, and I can confidently say it's a game-changer for Australians traveling to Asia. I did the math, and the cost savings are significant. To put it in perspective, I looked at the big Australian telcos' roaming fees: · Vodafone & Optus have a daily roaming rate of AUD $5 for international data. · Telstra's similar plan will cost you AUD $10 per day. For a 10-day trip, that's an eye-watering AUD $50 to $100 in roaming fees alone. Then there's the value when compared to other eSIMs. For example, a popular provider like Airalo charges around AUD $37.50 for a 10GB/30-day plan for a single country like Indonesia. However, this Trip.com eSIM gave me connectivity across multiple countries in Asia at a fraction of that cost. The guide was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and very nice. He seemed to know quite a bit about the whole history of the area. His driver was always courteous and seemed to enjoy his part in all of it (maybe because he stayed in the air conditioned car). It was incredibly hot on that day, but they made sure that we were not getting too overheated, as best as they could. Requires a good bit of walking, including up and down hill, and much of it isn't wheelchair accessible (some parts had ramps that I saw, though). I cannot recommend this guide highly enough.
