The weather was fantastic at first, then clouds and rain came along, but our guide Banda tried to keep spirits up despite the less-than-ideal weather with music, beers, and lots of interesting facts about the lagoon. We felt completely safe and comfortable the whole time – and we even saw a flamingo, which made the experience perfect! 🥰

We had a lovely pontoon boat ride on the lagoon. Our guide Edwin picked us up at our hotel dock and toured us around the lagoon while telling us some interesting facts about the lagoon. We then dropped anchor to swim while he cooked us a delicious lunch, arrachera skewers 😋 The trip was a good value for a 4 hour day on the water.
