I added the map in advance, a few days before my flight, and activated it immediately upon arrival in Hanoi. There were some minor speed issues at Hanoi Airport before baggage claim and on the way from the airport to the city, and the connection dropped a couple of times on the highway. Otherwise, the signal was stable, even when going out to sea on an excursion. I used the map on the route Hanoi - Halon - Da Nang - Nha Trang - Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh City, and it worked without any issues throughout.

Excellent connection, even in the bay during the cruise, everything worked. The internet is fast; I took out 5 GB per day, which turned out to be too little considering I spend a lot of time on my phone.
