I went to the walking tour with friends. I didn't know Minami area had so many hidden gems. Specially, the different art exhibitions as I am very interested in Art. We got to speak to a few local people and visited the biggest bamboo factory in Oita! There were quite a few quirky shops for gifts. I also loved the cozy, aesthetic cafes. The tour guide was bilingual and very friendly. I would recommend it!

We had a fascinating tour of the various hot springs in Beppu. Our guide, Kana, gave us a warm welcome, and we were amazed by her knowledge of Beppu and Japan. We also learned many interesting things about her and the daily lives of people in Japan. Her calm and friendly manner made this tour a truly memorable experience. To conclude the tour, she drove us to a small Japanese restaurant where we could sample local specialties. Finally, Kana drove us to the Bamboo Museum, which we highly recommend! Thank you so much for this wonderful time!
