I recently used an eSIM for international travel, and it was great!
Setup was easy, and I was able to use it in a short time by simply scanning a QR code.
Best of all, it was really convenient to be able to connect to the internet immediately after arriving.
There was no hassle of changing SIM cards, and I was able to use data smoothly.
I also had the impression that the price was cheaper than buying it locally.
I think eSIM is the only choice for future use both domestically and internationally!★

The maximum is 2GB per day, and sometimes it exceeds it. It's very good. It's good for watching 240p YouTube, but it's difficult to surf the web, and it takes time to attach photos, but you can send them. If you want to watch YouTube videos in Europe, instead of using it, it ends based on London time, so use it after 00:01 London time, UTC+00. Use low-data mode.★

I traveled to western and southern Iceland in December, and had internet access most of the time. Only one night at a mountain hotel had slightly less reliable internet, but overall it was great. Both the local tour and the hotel offered free Wi-Fi, and I only used 2GB of the 10GB limit for my 7-day trip, so there's no need to buy too much extra space; just buy more if you need it!★
