Reviews: Day Trip Bucharest : Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov

I booked Peles Castle, Bran, and Brasov, but instead of Brasov, I ended up with a strange, albeit beautiful, place. I could have spent more time in Peles than in Bran.

After reading reviews of this tour, I expected to be forgotten somewhere, threatened with extra money, treated rudely, and so on. And, at the very least, an old and dirty bus. BUT! The tour was wonderful! The bus was comfortable, the driver was awesome, and the guide, Mattia, was attentive and polite. He kept a list of all the passengers, checked and counted them at every stop, and when necessary, ran around looking for latecomers. We bought tickets to Peles Castle online and went to see it ourselves. In Brasov, we went to the Black Church and then ate at the Gustsri restaurant. To sum it up: the tour was worth every penny, a pure pleasure!

Beautiful and well-organized tour. Our guide, Gabriel, was fantastic. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent Italian. At the beginning of the tour, you'll be given the times for the various stops, and you can decide whether to buy the tickets yourself or with them (for a surcharge). You can pay in cash in both euros and lei, while you can pay with a card in euros. For Bran Castle, my advice is to buy the tickets yourself, as there won't be a guide anyway, nor will there be any reason for the surcharge. Furthermore, the castle itself is nothing special; it's very small. These tickets are valid for 3 hours before and after your selected time, so there shouldn't be too many problems. The city of Brasov is lovely, even though it's small. For Peles Castle, I recommend buying your ticket with Gabriel, who will be your guide. He was excellent and shared so many interesting facts with us.
Reviews: From Bucharest: Slănic Prahova Salt Mine Ticket and Transfer

Very well-organized trip... The departure was on time 😊... We were a group of about 15 people in a minibus. The guy who accompanied us made us stop for about 10 minutes on the way there, and on the way back, during the journey, he explained a few things about what we saw along the way. As for the tour inside the salt mine, I found it very beautiful and relaxing. You can tour it independently in about an hour, and inside you can find bars, restaurants, and even a playground for children. Since I went on a Saturday morning, fortunately I didn't encounter many people inside, so I was able to take the time to look around carefully. I think this experience is worth having at least once in your life! 😊

The driver was very good and careful despite the snowy road. Our guide, Andreea, was professional, helpful, and kind. The mine is evocative and the monastery very beautiful. We returned on time despite the adverse weather.
