Fantastic excursion in a small, traditional wooden boat. We saw a pod of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) up close, even though it's not the best season for whale watching (February). It was magical. However, despite the beautiful sunshine, the ocean was very rough!! A real thrill! :0) We brought "R Calm" with us, and thank goodness!

We liked everything, we were alone with Richard, he told us a lot about Madeira, the past and the present, super beautiful views, the Kings Road is one of my favorites.

It was a fantastic tour, with beautiful scenery. A few days ago we took another tour, on the east side, with the same guide, Romero. We liked so much both the stops and the explanarions, that we decided to go on this west experience as well. For this tour, the stops have been very interesting, maybe even more breathtaking and Romero has been a great guide to us, very knowledgeable, with an interactive style. He made us all feel welcome, safe and relaxed, whilst sharing alot of interesting facts.

The whole activity was great. Starting with a punctually pickup and continuing with a smooth drive. The guide, Paulo, was very professional and gave a lot of additional explanations about flora and Fauna. 100 % recommended !!

Surprising, considering the inland area. It took quite a bit of effort despite the e-bike. It was a lot of fun!


