It was very easy to choose, buy and install on the phone, the only thing you need to do is tick the box for data transfer in roaming. The connection is good, everywhere in Boracay, it disappeared once in Pukka, it works in Cebu too, I didn’t use the support service★

The Philippine eSIM I purchased through Trip.com had a fairly stable signal in downtown Cebu, but it almost completely lost signal in more remote or suburban areas, making it quite inconvenient.
Later, I mostly had to connect to the resort's Wi-Fi to get online.
If your itinerary is mainly in the city center, an eSIM might be a good option; however, if you're traveling to more rural or island areas, I recommend buying a physical SIM card locally for better overall signal and connection stability.★

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.★
