Fantastic experience. Got changed around a little, because of the bad weather, but it ended up being an upgrade. Guide was knowledgeable, and easy going. The stop for swimming was a highlight.

I only used this service for a one-way trip from Malpensa Airport to Milan Central Station. I considered the Malpensa Express, but chose this service to save money. I bought the ticket on the day of travel, and it was fine. I didn't know where the platform was, but a staff member kindly showed me the way. It seems to run once an hour, so if you get on early, you'll have to spend time on the train until departure. You have to pick up your own luggage. I was worried about my luggage being mixed up or stolen. If you're worried about that, I recommend sitting near the entrance/exit.

The day was long. I don’t think I would do it again. Too short a time at each stop. Not that it was the fault of the tour, it’s just a long day of driving around with not much content.

The villa is very pretty. And above all, the gardens are magnificent. I left feeling amazed and incredibly peaceful.

This was a great self directed activity. The 30 minute walk to the gardens is quite physical with inclines and declines, so as long as you are relatively fit/active/mobile there shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes. Beautiful scenery. Gardens and lake are stunning.


