1. Traveling north to Nanjing the day after the Shanghai group departs is time-consuming. Whether the tour departs from Beijing or not doesn't matter after the group is formed, so I personally recommend forming the group locally and arranging your own transportation. I returned directly from Hangzhou, saving the time of the group returning to Shanghai and catching a flight. 2. The first three nights were in budget hotels, and the last night in Hangzhou was an upgraded hotel. However, because the optional Songcheng Eternal Love show ended late, even with the upgrade, I didn't feel well-rested. Also, many people didn't participate in the optional tour that night, and the tour guide didn't flexibly arrange for them to return to the hotel first. Regarding meals, everyone was satisfied with the last night's dinner; don't expect too much from group meals. 3. The trip was at the end of March, and East China was already in peak season, with tourists everywhere, especially in Wuzhen, where people were packed together. Tour guides from different groups were talking through megaphones, making it impossible to enjoy the experience. 4. Budget group tours average one shopping stop per day, each lasting an hour, which is quite a lot of shopping. 5. The tour guide and driver were highly professional and received praise from the entire group.
